Attending Call Centre & Customer Management Expo

As a peer-to-peer event, Call Centre & Customer Management Expo is free to attend for anyone who is responsible for the strategic or operational running of a call centre or are involved in devising customer strategy or work in customer service senior management.

Getting to the Venue


The Birmingham NEC can be easily reached by car, train or bus, and Birmingham International Airport is nearby.cce 

BY TRAIN

The NEC has main line connections to all major cities through Birmingham International. Trains leave from London Euston. Virgin Trains operate services from London to Birmingham up to 3 times an hour, and average journey time is an hour and a half.

(N.B. The international railway station and airport links are a 5 minute walk through the bridgelink at the NEC)

BY CAR

Visitors from any location can travel to the NEC directly using the following motorways: M1, M5, M6, M6 Toll, M40 and M42.

The NEC is signposted on motorways and major roads. If you are travelling by car, please allow plenty of time for your journey.

M6 Toll
An alternative to the M6, the M6 toll offers shorter journey times through the West Midlands. It runs between junctions 4 and 11 of the M6 and access is via Junction T1.
 
Using Sat Nav
If you are using Sat Nav, please use the postcode B40 1NT to locate the NEC. Be aware that the directions will bring you to the NEC and not the car parks. Please follow signs and directions to the car parks once in the venue area.

Car Parking
The NEC has numerous car parks that are categorised into North, South, East & West. There are over 20,000 onsite parking spaces. You will be directed to the relevant car park for Call Centre & Customer Management Expo 2009. The NEC do recommend checking the Site Map before arriving to familiarise yourself with the site.

If you are travelling from abroad to Birmingham International Airport (BHX) then the NEC is conveniently located next door. Make sure you book early for great discounts.

If you are flying into London Gatwick
You will need to get a train from Gatwick to London Victoria. Follow the signs to the London Underground, and get the Victoria Line to Euston. From Euston you will be able to get a train to Birmingham International, which will take approximately an hour and a half.

If you are flying into London Heathrow
You can get the Heathrow express to London Paddington. From London Paddington you can get the London Underground to Euston Square (5min walk to Euston Station) which is on the Hammersmith & City Line. Follow signs on the platform to the Underground. Once at Euston you can get a train to Birmingham International which will take approximately an hour and a half.

Check with Transport For London before you travel for any engineering works which may affect your journey.

Directions to the NEC from Birmingham International Airport
From the first floor of Terminal 1 take the Air-Rail Link to Birmingham International Railway Station, then follow the clear directional signs to the NEC. It's approximately 5 mins walking to the main halls via a covered walkway.
