Competence Call Center receives award number 21 for best IT Professional Gregor Willenberg
During the World Contact Center Awards 2009 on 15-17 June in London, Gregor Willenberg, IT Manager of Competence Call Center, was distinguished in the category ‘’Best Support Professional IT’’ in the entire EMEA region.
The 20-strong specialized jury consisting of international experts in the Contact Center Industry, examined the contribution of the IT Manager, who convinced the jury with his technical know-how and received the trophy and the gold medal at the London event.
Gregor Willenberg, who has over five years of call center experience within CCC, looks after the location-wide implementation of the telephone systems and the internal communication platform, as well as quality development and security measures in the IT department. Willenberg was in charge of the technical buildup of six CCC locations in six countries and is at present responsible for the technical infrastructure and the IT-Management of all CCC locations.
Originally from Berlin, Gregor Willenberg possesses a well-founded training in the range of the information technology and various other training courses, including the area of VoIP. Already in the last year he was able to take the honor of an award for CCC as ‘’Swiss SAP BCM Reference Customer of the Year’’.
‘’The participation in the World Contact Center Awards facilitates the professional exchange and competition with top performers of the industry for CCC. In addition it offers us the chance to represent to an international public the achievements of our team and the projects and implementations, which we could successfully realize in the past years’’, describes Willenberg the motivation to meet this challenge. ‘’This award is a huge honor for me and proves that the way and the commitment of our team is right’’, states Willenberg.
In November this year Gregor Willengerg places himself into international consideration for the honor of “Best IT Manager Worldwide” in Las Vegas.
‘’I am looking forward to meeting more international branch managers from Asia and the United States in Las Vegas. With each new meeting you can learn ideas and concepts from other countries, which will help support our goal of constantly looking to develop and improve our own systems. And naturally I will again give my best so that I can return a new award for CCC’’, says Willenberg.
