SmartPoint Recognised in Call Centre Focus Hotlist 2008 For Reducing Costs and Boosting Efficiency in the Contact Centre
Wednesday 17th December 2008, London, UK. SmartPoint, the intelligent desktop software, has been included in ‘The Hotlist 2008’ as recognised by Call Centre Focus (CCF), the UK’s number one customer contact title.
The CCF ‘Hotlist’ acknowledges organisations, teams and individuals that have had the biggest impact on the contact centre industry in the past 12 months.
SmartPoint has been highlighted because of the way it enables contact centres - under pressure in the tough economic climate to deliver more with less - to become more efficient, decrease costs and improve customer service.
SmartPoint’s unique technology monitors user activity and delivers information in context directly to the contact centre agent’s desktop, meaning complex and expensive re-programming of existing systems is no longer required. Furthermore, agents do not need to manually search and log on to multiple systems therefore eliminating unnecessary licence fees and reducing training overheads.
Nicolette Allen, deputy editor at CCF commented: “Every year, we at CCF magazine are amazed and impressed by the achievements taking place in the contact centre sector. The Hotlist is an annual celebration of these successes, which showcases the very best accomplishments in call centres.”
“Recognition in CCF’s ‘The Hotlist 2008’ reinforces the value that SmartPoint is providing to our contact centre customers,” commented Philip Briscoe, marketing director at SmartPoint Technologies. “By actively reducing needless costs while at the same time enabling organisations to become more efficient, SmartPoint is fast becoming a must-have technology in the contact centre especially during current economic challenges,” Briscoe added.
SmartPoint was also recently ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Product category at Call Centre Expo 2008 and included in Call Centre Helper’s ‘Top 10 Call Centre Software’ in November 2008. SmartPoint customers include: Abbott Laboratories, Ashford Borough Council, Canterbury City Council, City of London, Medway Council, Midwich and Wychavon District Council.
